Level 1 - Lisa-Anice welcomes all those who want ease that burning yearning to dance! Get your basics down in an interactive and common-sense manner for the Foxtrot, Waltz, Rumba, and Cha-cha. This term we also will work the basics of the East Coast Swing and the Nightclub Two Step. Enjoy!
Level 2 - Now that you dancers have the basic idea, it is time to take those skills & move them up a bit with greater turn skills and lead/follow tips. We work four dances: American Tango, East Coast Swing, Hustle, and Nightclub Two Step.
The level 2 Class is skill-based; Students for the level 2 class have either taken level 1 or sought the permission of the instructor. (Ten weeks starting Sep 10)

Instructor Bio/Class Details (Online registration: class is in the Personal Health/Body Conditioning category) Popping is a robotic, funk-based dance that involves body isolation, illusions, pantomime, theatrics and rhythm. Learn the Robot (moving your body in a machine-like fashion), the Wave (looking like an electric current is going through your body), the Float (creating footwork illusions like the moon walk, glides, back-sliding, air-walking, wind walking and other foot moves) and Animation (making moves so that your body seems caught in a strobe light or in a clay animation movie).
