Lisa-Anice Sutphen is an accomplished dance and movement teacher, as well as a dancer and singer. She teaches dance at Pick School of Ballroom Dance in San Francisco, Redwood City's Imperial Dance Club and the new Just Dance studios in Oakland. In addition to ballroom dancing, Lisa-Anice was also head of fitness training at Opportunity Unlimited, the only bilingual adult program for the developmentally disabled in San Francisco. She has also been a research specialist and fitness trainer at the Association for Retarded Citizens.

A graduate of Central Washington University, she received her Bachelor's Degree in Music and Education (K-12) as well as a Special Education Certificate from the University of Washington. A Presser Scholar who graduated Summa Cum Laude, she also received Concerto-Aria Honors, Central Series Honors, and Honors from Metropolitan-Merola.

Her teaching began as an instructor with the Pediatric Therapy Project and she spent two years in the Puyallup/Tacoma School District.

As a singer she spent three seasons in the chorus of the Seattle Opera Association and appeared as Shirley Temple-Jones in the musical "G.A.D.S" for one season. Her other musical theatre credits include choreography and musical direction for "Something's Afoot." She was a flautist for KCBU television and an Emcee at KTV 5 in Seattle.

Lisa-Anice's performance dance credits include the Seattle First Chamber Ballet, a semifinalist in "Dance Fever," and soloist and choreographer for "Leather and Lace." Her ballroom dancing honors include being the Pro/Amateur champion in International Latin at the Northwest Star Ball and the Emerald Ball. She also holds dual Licentiate in International Latin/Standard Dance from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and was highly commended. A dual member of the U.S. Terpsicore Association she also won the 2005 YMCA Yoga Scholarship and has published articles on both fitness and dance.

Her film credits include the role of attorney in "Three Fugitives" with James Earl Jones, Martin Short, and Nick Nolte.
