I was born into a large Mexican family and learned the art of cooking from my father. At a very early age, I cooked Mexican, Italian, French, Japanese, Greek, and Chinese food. We were the first family on the block who owned a wok! I have had many careers, all the while continuing my quest for good food and culinary knowledge. In 1998, I returned to my first passion--cooking. I have taught cooking classes in English and in Spanish in private schools, and have been a guest lecturer in Dias de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) history. I love to eat and enjoy sharing food with friends. |
