Instructor: Lilia Lame'
http://moneyandlilia.blogspot.com Lilia Lame', MBA, began her investing career in 1986 while working as a retirement plans administrator for a large Bay Area corporation. She has taught financial seminars at numerous venues, including the University of California, Davis. Ms. Lame' received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from the University of California, Davis, where she made the Dean's List. In 1995, Ms. Lame' earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Saint Mary's College. In 2007, she obtained her Teaching Credential, and continues to hone her investing skills by attending financial seminars regularly. Class Description: Investment classes These classes are designed for students who are relatively new to investing. You will learn to speak "investing language" like financial advisors and Wall Street professionals. You will understand the importance of the Dow, NASDAQ and Standard & Poor’s 500 (S&P 500) in the financial markets. Finally, you will learn to safely build a tax-efficient portfolio of stocks, mutual funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs), commodities and commercial real estate (REITs). |
