I am a credentialed teacher with 44 years of experience teaching cooking. I have taught private classes, taught at four adult schools, U.C. Berkeley Extension, San Francisco State College and have been a guest lecturer in Chinese history and culture classes.
I am a world traveler and enjoy eating and learning about foods from different countries. |

General Description of Classes
The classes that I teach feature cooking from around the world or a region of the United States. Classes are different each quarter so check with the catalogue and/or web site. My classes are held on Saturdays usually from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Four or five recipes are included in each class that normally includes a soup or salad, two or three main dishes and a dessert. The format of some specialty classes may be different. Instruction is a combination of hands-on and demonstration. Of course, students always eat what we prepare in class! |
