Instructor: Sheila M. Chan, M.A.
Sheila Chan is an experienced teacher and holds an M.A. in Cross-Cultural Studies. Currently she is a volunteer at the Zen Hospice Project in San Francisco, where she works in the hospice tending to the needs of the dying. She was inspired to begin an inquiry into the death and dying experience after the passing of her mother. Since then, she has been teaching classes and is now writing on the subject.
