Birding Basics

Birds & Butterflies - Easy Garden Enchantment

Be captivated by the beauty of native plants as you learn year-round ecological gardening. Join an enthusiastic group of birders to improve your ID skills, while learning more about the behavior of our local birds. (Wednesday classes starting October 8, field trips are your choice, Saturday or Sunday morning; the last field trip, Nov 15-16 is weekend-long)

The class covers identification, butterfly gardening and caterpillar reading. On field trips, participants will look for field marks, behavior & favored plants.
